Our most recent event was held at Liquid Jade, a tea bar
nestled away in Zebedee's Yard, just of Whitefriargate in Hull. With over 15
bloggers attending, the meet up focused on networking, making friends and
learning new things (as well as consuming lots of tea and cake). We introduced
a few new ideas, such as blogger bucket lists and a workshop hour, where bloggers
could share the top tricks of their trade, whilst keeping with the #HullBloggers tradition of a raffle, small goodie bag and lots of photo opportunities.
Needless to say, the event was a huge success, raising £60
for local women's charity Purple House, as well as collecting a small truck
load of material donations such as clothes, beauty products and bric-a-brac.

"The idea of the lists was to help us meet new
people and give us an idea of all the things we could be doing to be active on

headed sections, enabling bloggers to ask questions and discuss topics such as
social media, photography and so on, which I think is such a great idea for
both newbie bloggers and older bloggers, as things change so often in this

"It was great to discuss any struggles we face with
these (including my bad habit of not scheduling posts!!) and some tips that

"I met some lovely people who didn't even judge me

We did some mini Blogger workshops and Emma from The Pin Picker is
my new hero for showing me how to link my two Instagram Accounts... I
